Copywriting for search engines directories

To get optimal listings in search engine and directory queries, keywords and key concepts must be placed strategically throughout your web pages. To summaries, you need these words and phrases in:

1. Title tags

2. Meta-tags (keywords and descriptions)

3. Headings (if used)

4. Body text, and

Alt-attribute in the image source tags

When online marketing professionals optimize a web site for search engine and directory queries, they should not spend most of their time redesigning the layout (in HTML) or submitting the site to the search engines. Most of their time should be spent on researching, writing good copy that will index well in search engines, and writing thorough, accurate descriptions for directory submissions. Good web copy must contain well-researched and varied keywords and key concepts based on a web page's topic; accurately reflect the web pages' content; and be strategically placed throughout a web page as mentioned above.

Most sales and advertising "fluff" should be eliminated.

Here's an example (and one of our pet peeves). How many of you have seen this scam, "Put your printed brochure on the web!" Print advertising copy contains a lot of "fluff" phrases such as "service that is second to none." Search engine analysis? "Service" is a stop word in some search engines and will be ignored in a search query. "Second to none?" How many people do you know really search using that phrase? When we are looking for something on the web, we are going to type in exactly the type of product or service we are looking for, not sales and advertising "fluff."

Web copywriting should contain keywords and key concepts without all the "fluff." Web copy has to flow and be strategically placed to get your web pages ranked well in search engine and directory queries. Your potential customers will also appreciate being able to find what they are looking for as quickly and easily as possible. That's just good customer service.

The one time that web copywriting is extremely important is your site submission to Yahoo. Although Yahoo reserves the right to change or modify the site description you send them, if you can submit a well-written description containing your most important keywords and key concepts without word stacking, Yahoo will likely keep most of your description intact.

Good copywriting is a necessary element of both online and offline marketing. If you do not have experience in writing good copy for the web, we recommend that you hire an online marketing consultant to initially write the copy for you. Then you can learn from the copy you paid for. The more practice you get at web copywriting, the better you will get at it.

Understanding how seo works

To understand how SEO or Search Engine Optimization works, you must first need to understand how search engines operate.

Search engines are Internet sites designed to help users locate information from other sites. Each search engine has its own way of locating information but all of them perform three basic tasks. First they search the Internet based on certain keywords or phrases. After which, they keep an index of what they find and where they found it. Then, when they have indexed sites that are in their listing, they would put them in a database so that it can be easily retrieved when a user requests a search.

Now that you know how a search engine operates, you will more or less have an idea what kind of work is involved in doing SEO.

SEO targets to raise a site’s ranking in search engine results page (SERPS) and traffic volume by making it easier for search engines to find your site. There are several ways how to do this. The most common way is to improve site content. Since search engines are text-driven, the right placement of keywords relevant to a site makes it easier to be traced.

Other ways that SEOs could build up ranking and traffic is through increasing link popularity. Link popularity is the measure of the total number of other websites which link to a specific site on the World Wide Web. Link popularity plays a vital role in the visibility of a web site at the top of search results because it is a major factor used by search engines to determine a site’s ranking. Commonly, the more inbound links a site has, the higher the position it gets on the search list compared to a similar site that has fewer links.

Moreover, some search engines require at least one or more links coming to a web site or else it will be dropped from their index. Google, for example, uses a special system to do link analysis and then rank web pages based on this.

Another technique concerns meta tags. Officially referred to as Metadata Elements, meta tags are HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) or XHTML (Extensible Hyper Text Markup Language) elements used to provide data to facilitate the understanding of the contents of a web page.

These are found within the section of web pages. In a sense, meta tags are codes. Cleaning up codes in a website help speed up the load time of a web page and improve the code-to-text ratio. Search engines recognize the codes of a web page and have to find the keywords in the text among all of that code. If there is too much code but not enough text, then a web page can be considered less relevant to a keyword. In effect, less relevance to keywords means lower search engine results for a web page.

The techniques mentioned above are just some ways that SEO experts practice. There are other factors in a website’s design that could be played around and improved to boost up its ranking in search engine results pages. The bottom line is, whatever technique is used, an SEO’s main concern is to improve volume of web traffic and site rankings by making it ‘search engine friendly’.

A dozen great search engine placement tips

To be noticed or successful in the World Wide Web one needs to apply sound business sense and practices. When a surfer uses a search engine to find information he will get what he needs within the first 7-10 results displayed. This means that sites that are ranked higher than 10 are hardly ever noticed. Most of the traffic is enjoyed by those who rank within the “top ten.”

Here are a few pointers that may get you a ranking within 1-10:

1. Use relevant target key words for your pages. Ensure that the key words are more than two words long. Put yourself in the shoes of the surfer and list what the likely search terms will be which are relevant to the content.

2. Use keywords frequently through the page but with relevance. Higher placements are recommended. Ensure that target keywords are placed in the HTML title tag. Include target words in the titles. Write titles that capture interest and attention. These are what appear in search engine listings and only if they convey the content of the pages clearly will a user access the web page.

3. Every page must have a title tag, Meta keywords tag, and Meta description tag.

4. Use text navigation with great thought. It is advantageous to use keyword phrases as links. If text navigation is not possible then try and include footer on every page.

5. Avoid search engine stumbling blocks like image maps or frames. Construct your pages such that any search engine, old or new can read the pages. Create static pages and avoid symbols in the URLs.

6. Link analysis is used by important search engines in ranking algorithms. So, it is crucial to build solid links. Ensure that the links are relevant to your web content. Think quality not quantity. The secret is in approaching sites that are non-competitive and are ranked high by search engines.

7. Avoid spamming. It can get you banned. Fight the battle for supremacy by ethical means. Just ensure that your content is relevant and interesting, layout simple, and titles attractive and teasing.

8. To maximize efficiency submit more than one page manually. Make sure the pages are good representations of your site and its content.

9. Avoid automated programs for submission of pages. Submit manually and pay attention to any problems reported.

10. Prepare your goals with thought and care. Use a designer who is aware of online architectural design principles. Synchronize content, design, and navigation. Make it user and search engine friendly.

11. If you are in a hurry to get your website ranked then consider the option of using search engine marketing programs like PPC. In this case traffic is generated within days.

12. Use a link analysis report which will consider your competitors plan of action and prepare a recommendation report for you that is exclusive to your business module.

Search engine placement is the corner stone to success. It will not just ensure a good ranking but substantial increase in traffic and optimal business returns. As an astute business person or avid cyber techie you need to view the site in a rounded way and consider not just aspects of content and design but marketing strategies and cost effectiveness.

Top 2 reasons why motorhomes are the wave of the future

Did you know that motorhomes have been gaining rapidly in popularity over the last few years? It's true. If you've driven on the freeways recently, you might have noticed that there are an awful lot of people taking to the roads of America in their new homes on wheels (motorhomes). This country is huge and so are the number of attractions that you could see in a motorhome. Motorhomes have always been popular among the more mobile of our population, but recent models have shown that manufacturers have been producing incredible automotive works of art. Here's the 2 reasons why motorhomes are the wave of the future.

1)Retirement. There is a huge amount of the US population that is considering retiring in the next few years. Baby boomers have worked all their lives and have been spending their money like there is no tomorrow on all sorts of travel accessories. Motorhomes are no exception. One of the biggest things that all retirees want to do after they finish work is travel. Motorhomes provide future domestic travelers with lots of transportation options. Seeing the country (or even the world) in style is possible with a motorhome.

2)Cheap Mobility. Let's be honest here, gas prices are expensive. They've been expensive and probably will remain so for a long time. However, 2 or more people traveling in a motorhome can see a lot of things for relatively little money. Imagine how much money it would cost you in airplane tickets to fly to each destination individually? A lot more than the gas it costs to navigate from city to city. A tank of gas, financially, doesn't go as far as it used to, but it certainly isn't that bad considering all the place it can take you.

There is a lot more to motorhomes than just what's been covered here. In fact, there is a ton more of material available out there about motorhomes. Get informed before deciding to invest in a motorhome.

Coconut oil must be organic and virgin to reap health benefits

Several years ago, a popular national magazine called coconut oil a “miracle food” touting its ability to burn fat, help the thyroid and increase energy. As you can imagine, everyone flocked to the health food stores and wiped out the nations supply of coconut oil. Manufacturers could not keep up with the demand for high quality virgin coconut oil. During this time, several companies started peddling a very inexpensive, highly processed and refined coconut oil that was very appealing to the pocketbook.

Once again, coconut oil is back in the headlines and consumers are out shopping for the best value. Buyer beware… this low grade coconut oil does not hold the same promise as the high quality organic, virgin grade. The low grade coconut oil starts out with coconuts that are split and left outside in the open to dry out. Due to the high heat and humidity in the tropics, the coconuts are susceptible to growing mold and attracting germy flies. From there, harmful solvents are used for extracting the oil and more chemicals are used to bleach it back to its original white color. All the health benefits have now been destroyed and what is left is odorless, tasteless and bleached oil that can actually cause your body harm to consume it. I also want to mention that most salad and cooking oils that are sold at the market are also highly refined and manufactured basically the same way as I described above. Always make sure all the oils you consume are cold pressed (no chemical solvents or heat used) and preferably organic.

To reap the health benefits of coconut oil, it must be organic and virgin. This means that the coconuts are organically grown without any pesticides or herbicides. They are then “hand” or “mechanically” pressed without the use of solvents. You end up with creamy, naturally white oil that has a delightful smell of coconuts.

In addition to the fat burning and thyroid stimulating benefits that coconut oil has to offer, it also is known for improving conditions such as chronic fatigue, Crohn’s, IBS, and diabetes to name a few. It is rich in lauric acid which has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is known to reduce the risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol.

You can use coconut oil for cooking, on salads, spread over toast, vegetables or added to protein drinks. It does not even have to be refrigerated. Room temp is fine. It has a shelf life of 1-2 years.

Coconut oil can be used topically for moisturizing and toning. It makes the skin feel like silk, even on those with extremely dry skin. It also helps to prevent sagging and wrinkling by keeping the connective tissues strong. It will remove the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smother giving a more youthful appearance.

Secrets to a great farm holiday in tuscany

One of the biggest reasons one chooses a farm holiday in Tuscany is to get away from it all. However, getting away by no way means that your accommodations will be primitive or stark. Quite the contrary! Farmhouses in Tuscany come in a wide array of styles and sizes with varying amenities. Their unique histories are equally as interesting giving each its own special type of charm.

What Amenities Can You Expect

Luxury villas in Tuscany will vary greatly from the average farm house. Many Tuscan farm houses for example were once the residences of the poorer class. They can be found located at the foot of great castles. Contemporary inhabitants have however made sure the classic farm houses are comfortable and up to date with modern conveniences. Luxury villas will of course have more lavish furnishings and be generally larger.

Most farm houses in Tuscany will include bedding linens and the utensils needed to fix simple meals. Clean service is generally limited to a final cleaning once you leave. If you are staying on for an extended visit then more frequent cleanings can be requested at most Tuscany vacation rentals.

If you don’t want to do the cooking on your vacation, you can order in. For a few Euros more per day (or on a weekly basis) you can request a breakfast at home in traditional bed and breakfast style.

Tourism is an important part of Tuscany and thrives year round. If you are planning a farm holiday in Tuscany during the winter months, then often the cost of heating the farmhouse is an extra charge. During the summer months many farms have swimming pools available for guests at no extra charge. There are some houses where you must pay for the electricity if you are staying for more than a few weeks.

A Far Away Feeling that is Really Close

You may feel the wonderful relaxation of being away from it all. In reality you have the best of both worlds on a Tuscan farm holiday. There is a rich assortment of farmhouses within 30 minutes of Tuscany’s most visiting cities, including Florence and Siena. Here you can visit the best museums, go shopping on the Ponte Vecchio, and dine in the true Tuscan style.

How to Make Your Farm Holiday in Tuscany More Comfortable

When you vacation at a farm house it is a bit different than being in a high rise hotel in the city. There are advantages such as peace and quiet and more privacy. You have the outdoors and nature to enjoy at your doorstep. You also have more space for entertaining and are not just in a bedroom when at your home away from home. The one disadvantage may be that you do not have all of the same amenities of a large hotel. This means if you forget your toothbrush, you will have to go farther than the lobby to purchase another.

Being prepared for this kind of a vacation getaway will make it more enjoyable and save you time running around for items you may have forgotten. To be prepared, using lists and organizing your packing at home can help. Try using different bags for “bathroom” or “kitchen” items. For example, you bathroom bag will hold medicines, cosmetics, a hairdryer (with European adapter) and other toiletries, while the “kitchen” bag holds small snacks and supplies.

A farm holiday in Tuscany is an ideal choice for year round travel the outdoor environment offers seasonal activities. And remember, Tuscany’s most popular cities are a short drive away.

Katrina victims for life

There can be no debate about the horror of the World Trade Center attack. No conceivable rational excuse for the criminal destruction of spectacular buildings and thousands of innocent lives can be advanced. It was monstrous; it was deadly; it was immoral.

Four years later, the survivors still mourn their loved ones and the world looks to ground zero as the crucial moment when American innocence died. Somehow, the families of those who perished moved on. Several thousand Federal dollars in compensation did not take away the pain but did enable dreams of a life still worth living.

Only after the settlements were made were the cries of the families in Oklahoma heard. Those families, too, suffered a terrible loss but received only speeches and sympathy.

And now there are the victims of Katrina. Not only were hundreds of family members lost but, in addition, entire businesses, lifestyles, community bonds, and the independence conferred by gainful employment were entirely obliterated. We must ask ourselves: do we deal with victims in an evenhanded manner?

The financial safety nets of insurance, high pre-trauma earnings, and safety member retirement systems, were already in place in New York. The financial largesse of the government provided an even larger buffer against the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune.

Most of Katrina's victims lived their lives without a single tattered safety net in place. Poor, unskilled, and underemployed, many of these Gulf Coast residents barely stayed afloat even before the flood waters raged in. Now what little they had is gone. They cannot bury their dead and get on with life as the 911 families managed to do - because there is no life left.

The political think tanks that worry if a nominee is conservative enough, the lobbyists busily grabbing the largest slice of pork for their clients, and the Haliburtons, the Fluors, and the oil magnates have no emotional conception of the reality of poverty. While difficulty in paying the bills is common at all economic levels, contrast that with someone who has no bills because they have nothing: no debts, no creditors - but also no money, no food, no home, no resources.

For those still living in shelters or staying at a hotel until the vouchers run out this month - where are the federal dollars to help them move on? The government can't even figure out how to get generators to hospitals nor trailer homes to available land.

After the photo-ops, the dramatic flyovers, and the congressional appropriation bills, our leaders will go home to their comfortable beds with easy consciences, confident that they have done what was needed. Years from now, the victims will still be suffering as are those who were displaced long ago by Hurricane Andrew.

Unless they are lucky enough to become the swing vote in a tight election, they will recede from the front pages and slowly submerge beneath the slime of poverty, a more permanent threat than any temporary storm.

What is tooth whitening how teeth whitening works

Teeth Whitening: The process wherein the color of the teeth is lightened is called as tooth whitening. There are various reasons for teeth getting discolored. The main causes are stains of tea, tobacco, coffee, antibiotics etc. These can be removed by tooth whitening. People who have sensitive teeth should not use teeth whitening. People with sensitive teeth would have more problems if they use teeth whitening solutions.

There are many tooth whitening treatments available, some of them are:

1) Bleaching kits: Tooth bleaching solution is applied to the mouth tray and it is inserted into the mouth. After an hour or two or as mentioned in the kit the tray is removed. Most of them work for an hour. The solution contains peroxide, which bleaches the enamel. The carbamide peroxide content in the solution is normally of ten, sixteen or twenty two percent. Some bleach is used twice a day for two weeks while others are used overnight for 1-2 weeks.

2) Laser tooth whitening: A solution is applied on the teeth. A wall made out of rubber is placed on the teeth and the laser is directed towards the teeth and the heat generated enters the teeth through the solution and the treatment takes an hour or so. After the treatment is completed you can see the changes.

3) Whitening Toothpastes: These toothpastes have special chemicals that remove the stains. The main advantage of the whitening toothpaste is it does not change the natural color of the teeth. Colgate Simply White Advanced Whitening Toothpaste is recommended.

4) Tooth whitening strips: These strips are placed on the teeth and are removed after 30 minutes. These are very effective and are recommended. They also contain peroxides.

If the above mentioned ways of treatment are done properly then there won’t be any problem. There is no long-term data on safety of these tooth-whitening treatments.

A clothes encounter in the business world

Do you ever wonder where all the dress rules have gone? Depending on when and where you are on any given business day, the words "distant past" might come to mind. It's difficult to decide if people don't know what to wear to work or if they have lost sight of the relevance of appearance to professional success.

The Queen of England is reported to have told Prince Charles, "Dress gives one the outward sign from which people can judge the inward state of mind. One they can see, the other they cannot." Clearly, she was saying what many people are reluctant to accept; that people judge us by the way we dress. In all situations, business and social, our outward appearance sends a message.

Try going to a busy restaurant at lunchtime. Look around you at what people are wearing and see if you don't make judgments about who they are, their line of business, their personalities and their competencies. Think about how you feel when you are dressed in your usual business attire as opposed to casual dress. Your choice of business apparel speaks to your professional behavior and credibility. It is important to understand how to dress for business if you wish to promote yourself and your organization in a positive manner,

How you dress depends on four factors: the industry in which you work, the job you have within that industry, the geographic area in which you live; and most importantly, what your client expects to see.

Professional Dress for Men

In men's clothing, fashion does not change significantly from season to season but business attire is about being professional and not about being fashionable. It's about presenting yourself in a way that makes your clients feel comfortable and confident with you. Dressing for success is still the rule. The professional businessman should keep in mind these few points when deciding what to wear to work.

Choose a conservative suit in navy, black or gray either pinstripe or solid. The quality of the material speaks as loudly as the color and can make the difference between sleaze and suave.

A solid white or blue dress shirt with long sleeves offers the most polished look. The more pattern and color you add, the more the focus is on your clothing, rather than your professionalism.

Ties should be made of silk or a silk-like fabric. Avoid the cartoon characters and go for simple and subtle if you want to enhance your credibility.

Socks should be calf-length or above. Make sure they match not only what you are wearing, but also each other. A quick glance in good light before heading out the door can save embarrassment later in the day. Check for holes as well if you'll be going through airport security and removing your shoes.

Shoes should without question be conservative, clean and well polished. Lace-up shoes are the choice over slip-ons or flip flops. Don't think for a minute that people don't notice shoes. Many people will look at your feet before your face.

Belts need to match or closely coordinate with your shoes. Once again, quality counts.

Keep jewelry to a minimum. In a time when men sport gold necklaces, bracelets and earrings, the business professional should limit himself to a conservative watch, a wedding band and maybe his college ring.

Personal hygiene is part of the success equation. Freshly scrubbed wins out over heavily fragranced any day of the week. Save the after-shave for after hours, but never the shave itself.

The finishing touch for the business man is his choice of accessories: briefcase, portfolio and pen. When it comes to sealing the deal, a top of the line suit, a silk tie and a good pair of leather shoes can lose their affect when you pull out the ball point pen you picked up in the hotel meeting room the day before.

Professional Dress for Women

When women entered the workplace in the 1970's and 1980's in greater numbers than ever before and began to move into positions which had traditionally been held by men, many of them believed that they needed to imitate male business attire. The result was women showing up at the office in skirted suits or coordinated skirts and jackets with tailored blouses finished off with an accessory item that looked very much like a man's tie. Happily those days are gone. While the business woman may now wear trousers to work, she does it out of a desire to appear professional and at the same time enjoy the flexibility and comfort that pants offer over skirts. Her goal is no longer to mirror her male colleagues.

The same overall rules apply to women's work attire as apply to men's. Business clothing is not a reflection of the latest fashion trend. A woman should be noticed for who she is and her professional skills rather than for what she wears. Her business wear should be appropriate for her industry and her position or title within the industry.

Start with a skirted suit or pants suit for the most conservative look. A skirted suit is the most professional. With a few exceptions, dresses do not offer the same credibility unless they are accompanied by matching jackets.

Skirts should be knee-length or slightly above or below. Avoid extremes. A skirt more than two inches above the knee raises eyebrows and questions.

Pants should break at the top of the foot or shoe. While Capri pants and their fashion cousins that come in assorted lengths from mid-calf to ankle are the latest trend, they are out of place in the conservative business environment.

Blouses and sweaters provide color and variety to woman's clothing, but they should be appealing rather than revealing. Inappropriate necklines and waistlines can give the wrong impression.

Women need to wear hose in the business world. Neutral or flesh-tone stockings are the best choices. Never wear dark hose with light-colored clothing or shoes. Keep an extra pair of stockings in your desk drawer unless the hosiery store is next door or just down the street from the office.

Faces, not feet, should be the focal point in business so chose conservative shoes. A low heel is more professional than flats or high heels. In spite of current fashion and the sandal rage, open-toed or backless shoes are not office attire. Not only are sandals a safety hazard, they suggest a certain official agenda.

When it comes to accessories and jewelry, less is once again more. Keep it simple: one ring per hand, one earring per ear. Accessories should reflect your personality, not diminish your credibility.

Business attire is different from weekend and evening wear. Investing in a good business wardrobe is an investment in your professional future. For those who think it's not what you wear but who you are that creates success, give that some more thought. Business skills and experience count, but so does personal appearance and that all-important first impression.

The advantages with renters insurance

There is a misconception that only those who are buying their homes are eligible for personal property insurance. This is simply not true. Those who are renting apartments, condos, or other types of dwellings are eligible for renter's insurance, and having this type of insurance is a very good idea for many people.

As you might imagine, renter's insurance does not cover the actual structure of the building. The owner of the structure will have his or her own policy for that coverage. In some cases, they may also have some type of insurance that would cover your losses under certain events, but renters should not depend on that. It is far better to have your own coverage on your personal items. This way you know for sure that you are covered in the event something happens to the dwelling.

It should be noted that renter's insurance does not cover injuries that should happen on the property. Again, the property owner should have that on his or her policy.

What it does cover, however, are those personal items that belong to you. This might include furniture, stereos, electronic equipment, desktop or laptop computers, clothing, artwork and other belongings. Should you lose your belongs by either fire, natural disaster, or theft you can get them replaced under your renter's insurance policy.

As you might imagine, with so many people now owning things like computers and flat screen televisions, it does not take many items lost to add up to a significant amount of money that would be needed in order to replace these items. Renter's insurance is very affordable and one of the best ways to decide if it is a good idea for you or not is to take a walk through your home and tally up the cost of your belongings if they were destroyed by fire or flood. You may be surprised at how much you actually own.

Insurance rates for your belongings will vary from company to company so it is a good idea to shop around for the best deals. On average, most people can purchase good quality renter's insurance for about $200 per year.

Once you purchase a policy it is important that you keep an updated list of your personal items. This means adding to the list when you buy something new, and letting the insurance company know about it, as well as deleting items from the list should you no longer possess the item. Again, you need to keep the insurance company updated on that as well.

When you purchase something, keep your receipts. Receipts and other documentation such as credit card billings that state what an item is and how much it cost should not be kept on the premises. If those documents burn up or are otherwise destroyed you will have to track down copies and that can increase the length of time before settlement significantly.

Lastly, if you move to another dwelling, you want to make sure that you notify the insurer as soon as possible. In some cases, moving from a high crime area to a low crime can actually save you money on your premiums.

Easy steps to gaining a personal loan

Many of us feel when we are taking out a loan, that we are not so sure on how they work or how much that you feel that you should apply for, unless you have a specific purchases that the money is going on.

Deciding on how much and over which length of time, which we want the loan should really depend on how much you can afford. The thing with this though, is that the lenders try to dictate to you, how much of a loan to take. This is because they stagger their interest charges, with the amount that you wish to borrow. With a higher percentage interest charge, for example on Ј1000 that could be as high as 20%, with a loan amount of Ј20,000 or more coming with an interest charge in single figures.

You may look at this and work out that you will get a lower interest rate if you take more of a loan. But by doing so this will mean that to afford the repayments on the larger loan amount taken, you will then have to pay it back over a longer period of time. This will give the lender a steady income over the term of the loan, which could be 5 years. Where as if you had taken out your original smaller loan, you could have had it paid off over a year or two.

If you opt for a loan for any amount and over any length of time, you may have to look at the payment protection insurance. It will not only protect you if you are unable to work because of illness, or due to being made redundant from your current post. The one main thing that it will do is drive up the cost of your loan. So as you may have opted for the larger loan amount, you will also find that the insurance will be a lot higher, than with the smaller loan.

If you do feel that the payment protection will give you peace of mind, in case of any eventualities, there is one thing that I will never tire of saying and that is Read The Small Print. By doing so, you may find that if you take out the cover that the loan lender is offering, you will not be covered by some of the clauses that are written into the small print. For example if you are self-employed or are working within a short-term contract, you may find in the small print that the terms of the cover do not meet your requirements. Which means that you will be paying money to a protection cover, which simply doesn’t help you.

If your finances change for the better during the term of your personal loan you may be able to pay the balance without an early redemption penalty. Ask your loan provider for more details. More importantly, read the small print and all terms and conditions of the loan before you decide to proceed.

Anguilla the snake

:
Anguilla, also Snake Island, is one of the most northerly of all the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. An internally self-governing British overseas territory, Anguilla's military defence is the responsibility of the United Kingdom.

Anguilla was First colonized by English settlers in 1650, and was incorporated into British dependency along with the neighbouring islands of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the early 19th century. This incorporation didn't pass without much objection of the Anguillan peoples. In 1980 Anguilla formally withdrew from the territory, and thus becoming a separate British dependency, which it remains today.

As a British overseas terrirtory Anguilla, the Brithish government is represented in the territory by a formally apointed Governor. The head of government is a local elected Chief Minister.

Industry on the island is small due to it's size. The two major industries are tourism and fishing, offshore banking becoming an increasing role in the economy. The majority of Anguillans are Protestant and are of African descent.

Because of it's peaceful, and relaxed atmosphere it's no doubt that Anguilla has become such a hot tourist destination in the past years. If your planning a trip to the Carribean there are several countries to choose from: Make sure that you don't miss out on visiting Anguilla!

On top of the list of blue cards from American Express, the original American Express blue card is still the base line of all American Express blue cards. Although the new types of blue cards are considered more power-packed and may offer greater benefits, the original American Express blue card is still a good choice.

One of the greatest benefits you can enjoy with this blue card is its 0% APR or annual percentage rate. This means that you get lower calculated interest rates established on the main amount borrowed by an individual. This serves as the main baseline for the initial interest rate charges whenever the credit cardholder makes some transactions such as balance transfers, incurred balances, and cash advances.

On top of the other benefits, you can also enjoy tremendous rewards based on earned points. Best of all, American Express blue card does not have an annual fee.

2. Blue cash

Cash back rewards are always welcome scene for anybody who wishes to save more on their purchases. With Blue cash card from American Express, you can definitely enjoy higher percentages on cash backs. For instance, if other cards are giving you 2% cash back on your purchases, you can get as much as 5% cash back with American Express blue cash card. So you get 5% cash back on your bills, gas, etc.

3. Jet blue

Named after the Jet Blue Airways, the American Express Jet Blue cards are the perfect cards for people who travel a lot. With a jet blue card, you can easily accumulate points and use them to get free flights from Jet Blue Airways.

4. Sky blue

As clear as the sky, American Express Sky Blue card can give you clear rewards as stated in your fine print or some American Express brochures. The problem with most credit cards is that they offer false hopes to people who tried to earned or accumulate such points only to find out that the promised place did not turn out the way it was suppose to be.

The good thing about sky blue card is that it can even provide you places that the other credit cards have not offered before. Best of all, sky blue cards offer no restrictions. Hence, travelers can enjoy the destination place of their choice. You can also enjoy other privileges that only American Express blue card can give.

Indeed, colors may not say it all but with American Express blue cards hanging around in almost anybody’s pocket, the credit card industry has definitely a long way to go because people will continue to enjoy cashless shopping.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a set of methodologies aimed at improving the visibility of a website in search engine listing. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) involves the careful optimization of corporate web sites to effectively increase their visibility in the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Alta-Vista, and many others. The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that that site will be visited by a user. The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that that site will be visited by a user.

• Meta Tags

• Navigational links

• Rich Content

Meta Tags:

Meta Tags are very important for your website's visibility. Many search engines read them from your site when you submit it to them. Major meta tags that you can use:

Meta Title

The only resource type that is currently in use is "document" This is the only tag that you need to put in for indexing purposes.

Meta Description

Depending on the search engine, this will be displayed along with the title of your page in an index. "content" could be a word, sentence or even paragraph to describe your page. Keep this reasonably short, concise and to the point.

Meta Keyword

Choose whatever keywords you think are appropriate, seperated by commas.

Navigational links:

at the right or at the bottom, but not on the left, of the page. When the search engines "read" your site, they read from the top left to the bottom right. Search engines place an emphasis on the first 100 words or text on the site. You do not want these words to be navigational links or Javascript. Ideally, you want to have your heading tags with your keywords in the beginning of your page. This being said, placing your links/JavaScript on the right or bottom of your page ensures the search engine spiders get to the text first, giving more weight to what's important on your page.

Rich Content:

The more content you have on your site the more likely someone is to find what they're looking for when they get there. Keep your site very content rich. Have a lot of pages. Update the site even twice a day if you have the time. Updating your site does not mean that you copy paste content from other sites. That will only push your rankings further down. Don't have any duplicate content. At the same time, dont spam multiple content across the same website. When a search engine views or reviews a website, which they do at least every few months, it looks for specific characteristics found in the content of website landing pages. Create the bigger-than-life character for your novel

Who is the Bigger-Than-Life Character in Your Bestseller-Kind-Of-Novel?

The main characters in the bestseller-kind-of novel are bigger-than-life. No wimps here. You can’t just tell us what they do; you have to show us what they do. Prove that they’ve bigger-than-life. These are people who find ways to solve the problems around them. They outsmart the bad guys. The bigger-than-life character overwhelms the enemy, somehow. They blow up blockade, so to speak—literally or emotionally.

Here are your examples: In the Godfather, everyone knows that he can fix any man’s problems. His people already know that; we’re just being introduced to him, though. The undertaker comes to him seeking revenge on the well-to-do white boys that tried to rape and beat his only daughter. If the undertaker takes revenge, he knows the police will find out and jail him. So he comes to godfather and asks the request. Godfather has his foot soldiers to take care of it. The pizza baker wants his daughter to be married to the baker boy who is about to be deported to Italy by immigration. Godfather has his concierge to talk to his politicians and stop the deportation. His godson comes in crying about a movie that the big time Hollywood producer won’t give to him. Godfather assures him he will fix it. The producer says he’ll never get that part. Godfather makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Through his unlimited connections, the producer finds his prized and protected horse’s head in his bed. Producer’s scream can be heard a mile away.

Even in death, he has outwitted the bad guys. He grooms the son Michael to carry on, and drummed into his head the plot the enemy will use to kill him. He accurately predicts who would be the traitor after his death. Godfather was larger than life and he has out lasted the author, Mario Puzo.

Godfather executed the death of the Italian Don, who had killed his father. As his mother begged for his life, the mob boss shot her. The boy escaped and came to America. He did crime to keep his people from suffering injustice. That was larger-than-himself, larger than life.

GONE WITH THE WIND—Near the end of the war, Scarlett comes home to Tara and finds it in disarray. Her mother is dead, the cotton fields are waiting to be tended, her father is losing his memory and two lazy sisters are complaining. Scarlett put on her bonnet and worked the field and whipped the sisters in line to do the same. When a Yankee soldier comes into her house, she shoots and kills him, then drags him out and buries him. Scarlett was a bestseller-kind of character—larger than life.

The Mayor’s Wife Wore Sapphires—Indigo Tate is wired to make things happen. The story opens with her scheming to get her husband into congress. She was ladylike and all cosmopolitan in the right circles. When she’s trying to get her “Camelot” status for Compton. But near the climax, when she is locked in a safe house, under the guardianship of a six-foot-nine giant and pressured, she tamed her guardian to have pity on her. She had the cool presence of mind, like Michael, to push the right buttons. The head enemy approaches, and when he is caught off guard, she battles him down with a broken chair leg—like Scarlett when the Yankee tries to invade her home. She runs and jumps off a high porch with two pit bulls baring teeth and chasing in close pursuit. She sprang on top of a six-foot fence, dislocating her arm and leg, but she keeps running to the highway, to freedom. No one can say anything but that Indigo Tate is a larger-than-life-character. She is the African American heroine who’s name will be just as well known as Scarlett’s.

Write 20 characteristics of your bigger-than-life character. If you notice, there are no wimps in even a love story.

The truth about layettes

Recently, I was at a baby shower for a young friend of mine who is expecting her first child. Most of the attendees were college friends of ours, and almost no one in the room has had a child yet. Needless to say, some of the gifts took some explaining. For many young mothers, some necessities may come as a surprise. In fact many may not know what the phrase "baby layette" means. For those, and for those who just feel like a checklist would make them feel more prepared, here are the basic things that an expectant mother and father should have waiting for the new bundle of joy.

It is important to have between four and six of all of your baby's basic daily needs. Things like undershirts, sleeping gowns, onesies, footsie pajamas, receiving blankets, hooded towels, socks, washcloths, and daily clothing will be key, since your laundry needs are going to multiply exponentially. You don't want to be caught in the middle of a load of laundry with a baby who has just spit up his or her lunch on her last clean shirt.

A going home outfit is of great importance, since it is the first time a lot of relatives and friends will see your baby. Not only will there be lots of photos, but there is a lot of sentimentality attached to this particular item. Other individual items to have on hand in the new baby's nursery are a crib with adjustable settings that can change to meet the needs of your growing (and ever the more clever) baby. You will, for the baby's bedding need a crib or bassinette with at least two to four crib or bassinette sheets, a crib bumper, and two to three crib blankets. You may want to consider adding a dust ruffle and some waterproof pads for the crib. These are not necessary at first, but you will need them later. A playpen for bringing the new family member along to friend's houses, family gatherings, or even just to the park or in another room of the house is a convenience that is great for keeping just a little bit of me time in those early months.

While with baby clothes, you should stock up on sizes three to six months (in case the baby is larger than the average newborn, or grows rather quickly), you want to have at least one large box of newborn sized diapers on hand when the baby arrives home. You may want to stock up in the event of a sale, but you don't want to buy too many, in case the baby is too large for them.

You also want to keep some other essentials in mind for changing/bathing. Two to three bottles of baby shampoo will get you off to a good start, along with a bottle of baby oil, a bottle of baby lotion, baby powder (corn starch is a great bulk alternative), and one tube of zinc oxide for diaper rash. Even if you are breastfeeding, you want to have 6-12 bottles with nipples and collars (and some extra nipples on hand if you are not breastfeeding). These are the absolute basics. It may seem like a lot, but being prepared with these necessities will make your transition into parenting much easier.

Book offers tips for survival in hospitals

If you've watched a TV show with a hospital setting, you might have a notion - albeit exaggerated - of how the interactions between patients and doctors can create dramatic scenarios.

A new book written by a doctor-nurse couple says similar dramas are playing out in real life. It warns of how we should be concerned about the lack of quality care that patients can receive in hospitals.

"Hospital Battlefield: A Field Manual For Survival," written by Lynne and Joseph Golonka, explains that inside knowledge and a lot of questioning will go a long way toward improving health care in the U. S.

While being critical of hospitals - to the point of receiving their fair share of backlash from the medical establishment - the Golonkas are quick to stress that the power to make change begins with the patient.

"We want to stir up this closed-hospital system, not fight health care professionals," says Lynne, a registered nurse.

The real enemy, she says, is illness. The book gives practical advice to help patients avoid hospital errors and infections and ensure a quick and safe recovery.

The "going into battle" metaphor is not intended to pit patients against doctors and nurses in a war-like fashion, the authors explain. But it does convey the urgency of "survival" within an imperfect system.

Chapters titled "Securing Allies" and "Chain of Command" are not difficult to equate with possible traps and troubles in hospitals. But the self-help guide is also peppered with medical-themed cartoons for a tongue-in-cheek approach to some of the challenges patients face along the way.

Yet the issue itself is a serious one, and the authors say preparation must be made for potential hospitalization. Some questions and ideas raised include:

* What are the right questions to ask medical professionals? Specifically, to whom do you address the questions and how do you ask them?

* Why is it so important to demand accountability from hospitals?

* What is one of the major reasons health insurance medical directors deny claims?

Ultimately, the book presents a realistic view of hospital health care and cites a surprising 1999 study as the basis of its argument. As many as 98,000 die in hospitals each year as a result of serious medical errors, according to the Institute of Medicine.

The Golonkas say that progress to improve the hospital system has been slow, and therefore they urge patients and families to be ready for battle.

Remember this is your Ebay business so what you sell is entirely up to you; just be sure to research your product to see if there is a demand for it. Consider shopping wholesale from Ebay itself - personalize the items. This could take a bit of time but well worth it if a sale is in the pipeline.

Once you have established in your mind what your Ebay business is all about and what wares to sell then it is time to open shop. Promote your product with good quality snapshots - this will give your customer a clearer picture of what they are buying. How you word your description on your listing can increase the possibility of more interest from other shoppers.

In the Ebay business pricing items can cause problems - if you are not sure why not go into the forums and ask other sellers for advice. Be reasonable and fair with the prices and you may well get a lot more interest and custom from your window shoppers.

When listing your item make sure you follow the guided instructions and all should go smoothly. Options are available for how long you want you`re listing to run on the Ebay auction, this once again is up to you - the longer the bids are allowed to continue at auction then the bigger bank balance.

Organize yourself properly in how you deal with payment methods and shipping. Take note that the popular way that most transactions are finalized on Ebay is through PayPal

Wisdom is the greatest guideline you could ever uphold.

Benefits and deficiencies of vitamins

Vitamins are compounds found in food, which help us to be fit and healthy. These organic compounds help in the functioning of the various metabolic systems of our body. Vitamins are found naturally in the various foods, which we consume and we can also obtain vitamins in the form of vitamin supplements. Vitamins also help to protect our body from diseases and infections. Vitamins are also essential for the formation of various enzymes and hormones of the body which control the metabolic activities such as digestion, circulation excretion etc. There are about eleven types of vitamins, which are essential for the human body. Vitamin A is essential for the proper functioning of our eye and it also acts as an anti oxidant preventing certain oxidizing chemical reactions, which cause harm to our body. Vitamin A can be obtained from green leafy vegetables, broccoli, carrot, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, papaya etc. The B group vitamins include thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, cyanocobalamin and biotin. It is always better to take vitamins as a whole from food sources rather than synthetic vitamins. Taking synthetic vitamins is more like taking half vitamin and our body treats natural and synthetic vitamin differently. It is very essential to provide our body with natural nutrients for protecting various organs and body functions. Car loans financing for people with good or less than perfect credit

Your vehicle is no more a talk of a town as it has become a basic need. Every year, various motor companies launch new cars to give the latest to their customers, who always look for scintillating yet attuned cars with innovative technology and sparkling designs. Things are changing for betterment so do our cars. Therefore, if someone wants to have a car, he can get it by offering the full price or he can opt for various car loans. Your credit score is one of the most vital factors to be considered during the processing of car loans. It’s quite easier to avail a car loan if you have a good credit score, but even if you carry a bad credit history, you can easily go for bad credit car loans.

So, once a borrower make up his mind to opt for bad credit car loans, he can either go for secured bad credit car loans or unsecured bad credit car loans as per his financial capabilities and requirements. A borrower enjoys some significant advantages by procuring secured car loans like lesser interest rate, easier monthly repayment instalments, and gets a longer repayment time with supple terms and conditions. If someone is not capable to offer any collateral against the loan amount or willingly doesn’t want to do that, as there is a grave risk of repossession, then he can opt for unsecured bad credit car loans. Here, a lender run the foremost risk, therefore, he charges high rate of interest and allows shorter repayment period.

Gradually a bad credit score has become a common thing in the huge UK lending market. This is not a stigma anymore, as more and more individuals are coming under this class. It might be possible for a borrower to get some supplementary benefits, while searching for bad credit car loans as lenders are battling hard to get more and more borrowers. Various loan offers can leave you perplexed. You can easily avoid any confusion by doing a thorough online research.

Are you dressed for online success

Do you want to work in your pyjamas?

Isn’t that the big online dream? To work from home, get out of bed at whatever time you want and work in your pyjamas all day if that’s what you decide to do?

Does that system really work though? Is it a good thing to work in your pyjamas?

I don’t think it does. I think you should ‘dress for success’.

Why???

When you work from home you are your own boss. The big disadvantage that comes with being your own boss is that you don’t have someone telling you what you have to do. Although, I know that’s the reason we don’t want a boss, however, without having someone telling you what to do, or giving you a deadline to meet, sometimes we can tend to slacken off a bit.

We don’t have a deadline to finish writing that report, so perhaps we’ll leave it until a bit later while we do some research to try and find a better way to make money online.

Many people will spend most of their time always looking for something else and never putting enough focus into one project. You may be wondering what has this got to do with how you dress.

I believe that if you get up in the morning and get ready to go to work as you would if you were going to a normal job, then you will get more accomplished during the day. Get dressed to suit the standard that you are trying to make for yourself by working online.

You want to make a decent income and be able to afford nice clothes and luxury items. I’m not saying to go out and buy all those luxury items now, but dress as though you are in that position.

Dressing for success will give you the motivation throughout the day to work hard for what you want.

Working in your pyjamas can make you a bit laid back in your approach to your work. It’s all about your attitude and your attitude can make a huge difference to whether you are successful online or not. How you dress and the routine you give yourself can make a big difference on your attitude for the day.

Although being able to work your own hours and wear whatever you want is one of the many advantages to working online, it is important to treat your online work as a normal job. Put in the time and the effort to make it work. Dressing as you would for a normal job can go a long way to giving your job all you’ve got and becoming very successful with it.

A prospective tool of education

It's popular belief that video games are addictive and turn people into dull headed zombies. This supposedly wrong notion about video games is sought to be set right by no less than the Federation of American Scientists.

Everyone agrees that repeatedly doing a thing will result in almost perfecting the task. Video games by their very nature involve repetition to a large extent. By repeatedly playing a game, the child gets to master the techniques and tricks to win the game. To win a video game you have to plan and strategize, as almost all the games are based on a story line of mysteries and surprises. When a child playing a game repeatedly, learns the tricks and cheats to win the game by trial and error, he's honing his skills in analytical thinking, multitasking, team building and problem solving under pressure. These are the qualities that every employer is looking for in his prospective employees.

However, one can't rejoice that playing video games will give him /her good job, for, not all the games are so positively oriented. Except for a handful of games, all others promote violence and destruction. Besides this, none of the games are curriculum oriented - they teach nothing about science or math or whatever subject as in the school syllabus. So, the government and the industry should invest in projects to develop games that are subject oriented as well as soft skills enhancing.

Among the teaching fraternity, there is a half hearted support for having video games as a teaching aid. While two thirds of teachers interviewed for their opinion thought that the video games would lead to "anti-social behaviours", a large majority believed that they developed motor, cognitive and thinking skills and acquire specific knowledge. In schools, it is almost impossible to pay personal attention to each of the students and teaching according to his learning skills. But now, some educationists believe that games have the potential to personalize and allow pupils to learn at their own pace. Thinking of it, we find children sitting glued to computer or video games for hours together, while teachers find it difficult to keep the attention of the students for a full 40 minutes. So, it is clear that visual attraction and interacting process can be used for better gain. Perhaps, if there is a video game that is based on a lesson, say history, on the life of Napoleon, children would get to know the French History better.

As of now there are only a handful of commercial games that can be used for education purposes. The governments of the world and the gaming industry should fund projects that help develop games based on the school curriculum. Using software for teaching is different from using games. Video game is a technology that can't be wished away. It has come to stay and is eating up almost all the time the kids have to spare.

Doug Lowenstein, President of the Entertainment Software Association, says, "We would be crazy not to seek ways to exploit interactive games to teach our children." Don Blake, technology analyst for the National Education Association, says that the teachers need to see games as a way to help - not as a threat!

The Experts have agreed to agree. So, this powerful medium should be properly harnessed and used prospectively, helping in bringing up a generation that excels in analytical thinking, multitasking, team building and problem solving.

Buying investment properties

Investment may be counted on the gross or the net basis. Net investment is gross investment minus depreciation. Investment may be ex-ante or planned or anticipated or intended investment; or it may be ex-post, i. e., actually realized investment, or when investment is not merely planned or intended, but which has actually been invested or implemented. This is so true when Buying Investment Properties.

Another classification of investment may be private investment or public investment. Private investment is on private account, i. e., by private individuals, and public investment is by the government. Private investment is influenced by marginal efficiency of capital i. e., profit expectations and the rate of interest. It is profit-elastic. Public investment is by the state or local authorities, such as building of roads, public parks etc. In public investment, profit motive does not enter into consideration. It is undertaken for social good and not for private gain.

Investment which is independent of the level of income, is called autonomous investment. Such investment does not vary with the level of income. In other words, it is income-inelastic. Autonomous investment depends more on population growth and technical progress than on anything else. The influence of change in income is not altogether ruled out, because higher income would probably result in more investment. But the influence of income is negligible as compared with the influence of population growth and progress of technical knowledge.

Examples of autonomous investment are long-range investments in houses, roads, public buildings and other forms of public investment. Most of the investment is undertaken to promote planned economic development. It also includes long-range investment to bring about technical progress or innovations. Public investment means investment which occurs in direct response to invention, and much of the long-range investment, which is only expected to pay for itself over a long period, can be regarded as autonomous investments.

Helping working families with the earned income tax credit

In the past, clients of NORWESCAP's Family Self-Sufficiency program in Morris County, NJ have used the tax return they received through the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for a down payment on a car, a security deposit on an apartment or to pay debts, said Penny Olson, the program's director.

For clients of Homeless Solutions, which provides affordable and transitional housing, the prospect of a large tax return can make a significant difference, executive director Elizabeth Hall said.

Those agencies are part of an effort to encourage low-income working residents to ask about the EITC when they file their 2005 taxes. The earned income tax credit is supposed to help low-income working families, but over the years it has been clear many eligible workers don't apply for it.

The Earned Income Tax Credit is for working families with incomes less than $37,263. If eligible, they may receive money back from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) even if they don't owe taxes - but they must file a tax return. The EITC is above and beyond any amount the families get from the child tax credit, which is a maximum of $1,000 per child and is aimed mainly at middle income households.

Across the nation, about 21 million people claimed the credit last year, pulling in $39 billion, according to the IRS. Although only about 75 percent of eligible filers claimed their due, the federal program - which was created in 1975 under President Ford and later expanded under Presidents Reagan and Clinton - has eclipsed welfare as the main source of cash assistance for low-income families.

To help out, the IRS has set up something called the EITC Assistant on its Web site to provide information, eligibility worksheets and explanations of the credit.

A variety of organizations sponsor Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites in their communities to prepare tax returns for those who cannot prepare their own yet cannot afford professional help.

In concert with the IRS e-file program, whose goal it is to receive 80% of all tax returns electronically by 2007, Taxhead. com is encouraging low-income and first-time tax filers to try eFile in 2006 (filing 2005 tax returns).

An executive from Taxhead. com said, "We are trying to reach those persons that qualify for the earned income tax credit. Our tax software has always been free to use. In other words you can prepare your taxes for free and mail them to the IRS. But if you want to gain the benefits of eFile, or electronic filing, we charge a small fee of less than ten dollars."

Good reasons to send email cards instead

I love technology. I love all of the ways that technology has made my life easier and more simple. I guess I'm a guy that likes things as uncomplicated as possible, so that is in fact why I have come to treasure the gift that the internet truly is. There are so many ways that the internet has affected my life that I'm not sure where to begin. I guess I'll share that the internet has affected my relationships immensely and hence my life is different too. One small but significant way that the internet has affected my life is by giving me the ability to send email cards for various occasions.

One of my downfalls is that I'm always the one among my family and friends to forget important days and events in the lives of those that I love. I don't do this intentionally, but it seems like life gets busy and that sending a card is quite often the last thing on my mind when a special day approaches. In fact, I could probably say that I have forgotten more birthdays and other signficant days in the past twenty years than I have remembered. But not any more. The ability to send email cards has literally transformed my world.

Sending email cards is great because it is so easy. All I have to do is search the internet for a card that fits the occasion and then push click to send it in an email to a family member or friend. What could be easier than that? If there are people out there that have no trouble remembering all the important days on their calendar, then you can discontinue reading this when you like and keep on sending normal cards. But if anyone is like me, then you need the help of email cards to make your life easier.

Another thing that I have grown to love about sending email cards is that there is such a variety of cards to choose from. As soon as I do a simple search for email cards I receive a ton of good options and usually have no trouble finding the perfect email card to send within minutes. The variety and the simplicity of the process makes it quick to do during your day.

One of the ways that I have become effective at sending email cards is by having a calendar system on my email account that lets me enter in important birthdays and other events and then it reminds me of them a few days before they happen. This way I have time to send email cards and I have time to purchase gifts, send flowers or do anything else that is necessary in the process.

3 popular wreck diving sites in britain

While the mention of scuba diving generally brings to mind the image of some exotic tropical dive locale, the United Kingdom has a number of exciting dive spots just waiting to be explored by divers like you. If you have no issues with cold water diving, the following destinations will leave you breathless. Or something like that…

One of the best dive sites in the U. K. is located in Scotland, in the Sound of Mull. The Sound of Mull is located between the Isle of Mull and the Morven Peninsula. It is an extremely popular destination for U. K. divers because it offers an unparalleled range of diving in very reasonable conditions. The area is cursed with bad weather, which has resulted in countless shipwrecks over the years. Most dives in the area are launched from Tobermory, Lochaline, or Oban. The Hispania is, by far, one of the most popular wrecks in the area, due to the fact that it is still relatively intact and awash in marine life. It is shallow enough to get a good long dive, and visibility is generally very good.

Another phenomenal dive spot is located on the south coast of England, in the waters of Sussex. The Alaunia, a steamship sunk by a German mine in 1916, is one of the more popular diving destinations on the south coast. Although the wreck is considerably broken up, there are still significant parts of the ship left intact. Be on the lookout for a series of portholes to help navigate the site. If you can manage to find the bridge area, you will undoubtedly be pleased to find the anchor still hanging from its chain. The size of the wreck is overwhelming to some degree, and it would take a few separate dives to explore the entire ship. Shoals of bib, spider crabs, and massive lobsters are sure to keep you entertained. See if you can spot a dead man's fingers while you are down there.

Another extremely popular dive is located near Plymouth, where the wreck of the steamship Maine found its final resting place. It can be found approximately a mile off Bolt Head. It was highly noticeable for a number of years, as the masts of the ship broke the surface of the water. The wreck has since been cleared of its mast, with most of the debris swept to its port side. It rests in water that is approximately 30 meters deep. The ship was torpedoed in March of 1917 and, after a noble rescue effort, came to rest in waters within easy reach from Salcombe. While this would be an amazing exploration for any diver, it is not recommended for novice divers due to the strong current. There is a good representation of undersea life, and this destination is sure please anyone who visits.

Larry craig s incongruency

The movie 'The Usual Suspects' has a great interrogation scene.

The detective says to the suspect, "The first thing I learned on the job, know what it was? How to spot a murderer. Let's say you arrest three guys for the same killing. Put them all in jail overnight. The next morning, whoever is sleeping is your man. If you're guilty, you know you're caught, you get some rest - let your guard down, you follow?"

When the whole Larry Craig fiasco came out, I thought back to that scene.

For a while, this story was all the media was reporting on. Larry Craig, senator from Idaho, was arrested after an officer investigating lewd conduct was tapped on the foot, allegedly, apparently, by Mr. Craig.

Craig pled guilty to a misdemeanor on August 8th after paying $500 in fines.

And later, when it came to light, a spokesperson for Craig said it was a big "misunderstanding".

Huh? A misunderstanding. But he pled guilty. Why would he do that?

Craig later said, "I should have had the advice of counsel in resolving this matter. In hindsight, I should not have pled guilty. I was trying to handle this matter myself quickly and expeditiously."

This is where I see incongruity with Mr. Craig:

1. Innocent people don't plead guilty. Innocent people put up a fight if they are wrongly accused.

2. Mr. Craig didn't call for his attorney. The first thing anyone does--guilty and innocent--is call an attorney. The quickest and most expeditious way to handle a legal problem is to get represented.

3. Craig said, "I am not gay - nor have I ever been gay." This sounds like he believes it is possible to have been gay and then become ungay. It's waffling.

Lastly, but maybe the most incongruous of all:

4. He didn't immediately tell his wife! Now, if I were arrested for something as preposterous as this, I'd go straight home to my wife and tell her, "Listen to what happened to me today. You're not going to believe this."

Then Senator Craig decided that the media was to blame.

It's all because of the Idaho Statesman. They've been "relentlessly and viciously" harassing him.

The media is usually an excellent villain because they do get so much wrong, so it's a pretty safe bet as far as scapegoats go. Unfortunately, Mr. Craig has a "history" and his anger doesn't seem very righteous.

Now look at this situation in terms of persuasion: Whether the allegations are true or false, how would you have framed the story under these circumstances?

Did his incongruity give him away? And what can he do to unframe himself?

Inside Countries Law

• If your flight is full and you want to quit it voluntarily always ask for better incentives if you feel you are not offered well.

• In Europe rules are very strict, so if you get to know that you have victimed ‘bait and switch’ that do not forget to file a complaint with the attorney general of the state. The results are much faster for a traveler because tourism is a big business for Europe and they do not want to lose on the tourists.

The principle law of online moneymaking ventures

There are two ways to earn money in the real world. Either you will work for a boss, or be your own boss.

Working for a boss entails employment of some nature, in an establishment that has some need for the services you could provide. Being your own boss entails having your own business and facilitating the production of some goods or the distribution of some services.

Either way, you’ll earn your keep (or at least, you should). It’s the basic law of making money, you have to give or render something to receive something in return.

When it comes to making money online, it’s the same principle at work. You have to give or render something to receive something in return.

And yes, you could work for a boss, or you could be your own boss. The opportunities are there in the World Wide Web. The choice is yours.

The first question in your mind, most probably, is this: could I really earn a living online?

The answer to that question is an emphatic “yes!” But let me explain, dear friend. I am not referring to some ordinary opportunities that would reward you with measly earnings that won’t even be enough to purchase a bus ticket to the zoo. Oh, most definitely not.

I am talking about REAL opportunities that would help you earn REAL money in the World Wide Web. The things you will learn in this series of email lessons would make you realize that the virtual world is just as profitable, if not more lucrative, than offline ventures.

Based on my experience, it is more profitable to have your own business on the internet. Case in point: I personally know 34 people who live comfortable lives by working for someone else via the communication channels that the internet has made possible, but I also personally know around 200 people who have made it big online without having to work as much as those who have decided to render their services for hire. By “big,” I mean big time big! I’m talking about a yearly gross in the high six digits, if not over the magical 7 digit barrier! And I’m just talking about the people I “personally” know, people I have befriended and people I have mentored at some point. What more the people outside my circle, right?

But first, we must cover the basics.

Tell me, what’s the common thing that can be observed in any business?

The answer, of course, is that you have to sell something. What you will be able to sell would be your bread and butter. It will be the source of your profits. You can’t earn if you can’t offer anything for a particular market.

You may offer them some goods or some services which they would need or want. This is related to the driving principle of the commercial world: the law of supply in demand. This principle is quite easy to understand. The lower the supply, the higher the demand.

This is the lesson I want you to learn: you can’t make money from the real world without delivering something, be it some goods or some services. And you can’t make money from the internet without delivering something as well. It’s the basic business model at work.

Using what we have discussed so far as basis, we could formulate an outline for your online business plan, one which would allow you to cover the basic concepts and advance to more complicated ones. Here are the things you have to learn, eventually:

1. How to find a profitable market.

2. The different types of products you could sell.

3. How to create your own information product.

4. How to create unconventional products that can be digitally delivered.

5. How to come up with products without having to go through the process of creation.

6. How to build your own digital store.

7. The basics of search engine optimization.

8. The basics of article marketing.

9. The basics of forum marketing.

10. How to make a blog work for your business.

11. How to price your product.

12. How to employ novel packaging techniques to make your product highly sellable.

13. Cross-selling and back-selling items for sustainable profit.

I am not exaggerating when I tell you that you’d be able to earn an amount that might rival and even surpass what you earn from your day job. The Internet, after all, has always been a secret breeding ground for millionaires.

Master the basics we have enumerated above and you will be able to realize the extreme profitability an online moneymaking opportunity can truly offer.

How to keep busy for days in a casino without gambling

Most modern casinos offer their patrons many different ways to spend their money other then playing craps, poker or blackjack.

If you are not very knowledgeable or are intimidated by the table games, you can always kill a few hours by playing the slot machines. The slots are fun and are not very stressful or hard to play, just drop in a quarter and hit spin.

Most casinos also offer video blackjack and poker as well so you don’t have to worry about looking foolish playing against better players.

Most casinos today also offer non gambling related activities for kids and those of us who do not wish to gamble such as shopping.

If you love to shop then you should warm up your credit cards because many casinos also have some of the finest clothing and jewelry shops available. The reason for that is if you win some cash they hope you will spend it in their shops, casinos are also usually built around populated areas where you can take the car and take a short 5 or 10 minute drive and be in the local city, where you have access to local shops and malls full of great shopping centers.

Maybe you are in the mood to see a comedian or a famous singer, because many of them tour the different casinos and perform shows there. The casinos will usually offer free tickets to their shows to big spenders in the casino, so if your wife or husband has been playing and winning or losing lots of money there is a good chance you can see a free show.

If you are looking for things to do with the kids then look no further. If the casino does not have amusements for the kids, then there is a good chance the casino is located near an amusement park. The casinos open in these areas to make it more attractive to family's on vacation. You can spend the day taking the kids out and then sneak down to the casino after they fall asleep in the room.

Depending on what time of year it is and where the casino is located there may be an outdoor pool you can lounge around get some sun and have a swim. Or maybe the indoor pool and spa may suite your needs better where you can swim some laps after having had a workout in the casinos gym. Then you can even get a massage from fully licensed masseuse before getting ready for one of the casinos fine restaurants, and if that does not suite the family most casinos also offer more family friendly restaurants as well as a few fast food places.

The casinos are not fools they realize that not everyone will enjoy a vacation that consists of sitting for 8 hours a day at a blackjack or poker table, and to cater for this crowd they have loaded their hotels with other activities so the entire family can enjoy their vacation, even without gambling.
